For Educators & Schools

Make mathematical relationships visible before asking for fluency.

MathLab is designed for learners who benefit from concrete models, patient feedback, multiple representations, and a clear route from construction to explanation.

Instructional design

  • Reviewed Challenge Presets rather than runtime-generated questions.
  • Inspectable Mistakes that keep the learner’s construction visible and editable.
  • Misconception-specific hints and Supported Completion when more help is needed.
  • Structured Explanations that connect a visual model to mathematical language.

Evidence, not surveillance

MathLab records bounded learning events such as meaningful manipulation, checked work, hint use, completion mode, and explanation evidence. It does not treat pointer movement, animation frames, or response speed as mastery.

Mastery is projected by Topic and Difficulty Band from a recent evidence window and can change as new evidence arrives.

Public beta boundaries

The public beta is available beyond a single school, but it is not yet a teacher assignment, roster management, gradebook, or high-stakes assessment system.

Verified school and learning-group experiences belong to the Experien connection and require authorized institutional membership.

Next Step

Review MathLab for your learners.

Explore the public beta, then tell us where the visual model helps—or where it still gets in the way.

No email app is required. The report goes directly to the MathLab beta team. A learner name or contact address is not required.

Nothing is sent until you select Send Beta Report.
